Found a good article on Reddit on how the Romney campaign got conned by consultants. I debated

not posting it but decided it was important to point out how many in the Republican Party are just out for money. How the earnestness of Democrats, from volunteers all the way to the top leadership, and the selfishness in the GOP at every level, is a gift that will keep on giving to Democrats well into the future. The article is from Red State .com

line of crap as an excuse for their defeat and as a way to go after Rove. It's bull shit but it's a neat way for the Republicans to hide the fact Romney, Ryan and the campaign were incompetent.

5. Option B

"Or Option B: admit that your data looked much like everyone else's and that you're smart enough to know that all along that you were losing, but that the rules of the game prevented you from publicly admitting that. That's partially because, via the 'bandwagon effect,' it might depress turnout, but mostly because it would depress contributions from big money donors who don't want to waste their money -- thus becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy because you then wouldn't have the money you'd need to even have a shot at winning."

He scammed the doners, the consultants scammed him.

The bright side of Citizens United may turn out to be that huge corporate money will be wasted because it attracts sophisticated crooks.

So big money is self negating. Well hopefully that continues.

It seems like the posters at RedState are not as extreme as Free Republic or some of the other right wing sites. It's interesting that most of their anger seems to be targeted at the Romney campaign and Fox News, not Obama, at least in this thread. Some even admit that Obama's campaign team was competent.

I almost feel sorry for this poster:

I donated to the Romney campaign. Not much, but it was what a could afford. I think it came out to about $300. That's grocery money to feed my family. That's gas money to get my kids to school and for me to get to work. And this is how it was spent? To line the pockets of wealthy charlatans? Words can't describe how angry this makes me. And this "good man" allowed this to go on right under his nose. Mitt Romney owes me and a lot of other Americans a huge apology.

Remember he gave the book away free as a campaign 'gift'? All those in any leadership positions, were grabbing donation funds for themselves. The buy your own book or movie with donation funds is a popular easy scam.
