They are just announcing on CNN that Johnson/Stein will not be on the September debate stage.

They would just be a distraction.

ON EDIT: And Johnson didn't even come close. On the major polls that they used, he only had an average of 8.4% support -- nowhere near the required 15.

Trump would take advantage of the other too, and would limit the time spent on meaningful things that Hillary can talk about.

I think a 1-on-1 debate will be better for Hillary, but as a matter of principal I think the threshold should be lowered to 10%. 15% is too high of a barrier that keeps the monopoly in place. Very glad Stein won't be there, though, not that that was ever seriously a possibility.

which would experience a disaster if either Johnson or Stein became a spoiler, and helped Trump to win.
