because it resulted in more mentions in the MSM and more requests for polls, resulting in more polling fees. If the consultants had done the skewing, the pollsters would have noticed and called them on it.
As for the consultants bleeding Mitt dry by seducing him with nothing but good news, isn't that was Bain Capital was mainly about? If Mitt didn't realize that they were doing unto him what he'd done unto others, he should have!
