His misguided political donation could have serious impacts on Oculus and Facebook.

To understand the extremity of the response to Luckey’s political donation, it’s important to know that Nimble America is not simply a pro-Trump campaign group.

Though their activities so far have been limited, their stated goal is to be a “non-profit dedicated to shitposting in real life.” “Shitposting” generally refers to content that is defamatory, misleading, offensive, or, preferably, all three. In other words, beyond supporting any particular candidate, Palmer Luckey has contributed, directly and knowingly, to the intentional degradation of American political discourse.

It’s also notable that one of the endorsements of Luckey offered to would-be Nimble America supporters came from Milo Yiannopoulos, the inflammatory mouthpiece of the so-called alt-right.

Lets' hope this is the start of people starting to shine a light on the Tech Industry's dirty Alt-Right secret; and people basing their consumer decisions on this knowledge.

Everone with a fairly new Samsung Galaxy phone has an Oculus store button on the screen.

The Gear VR of Samsung is run by that alt-right bro bastard Palmer Luckey! This is outrageous!

The other name for the Klan was the Secret Empire, because even at the height of their power in my hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana it wasn’t a given that public membership in the KKK was acceptable in polite company.

It’s no secret that Silicon Valley, Venture Capital, and Angel Investing is lily white, almost all male and conservative. No matter how many gay men are in the club (Peter Thiel) the same people who have run the show in the past continue to run it now with occasional East Asian guest stars.
