To sound 'streets of New Yawk' and a bit mob gangster that unless he's slowed down by being forced to read he slurs and drops some 'g' sounds (like in 'league') and hits them harder than most other times (like 'wrong-guh'). After all, he wouldn't want to sound like he went to the best schools or anything like that (even if he did)--it wouldn't be 'authentic' !
