Somebody needs to lay it on the line. So to speak.

Donald seems to be decompensating. That's clinical for coming apart at the seams. Howard is doing risky speculating but he's making a serious point both about how bizarre and incompetent Donald is and how you have to be extreme to even get the press's attention these days.

So nice to see an on-air callout of the media for the kid-gloves free coverage Trump has received for months. And there better not be any retribution by MSNBC against Dean for this truth-telling.

it took this long to get Howard Dean for more than a few seconds and allow him to speak. He's tried to speak out but gets shot down everytime he opens his mouth.

The media makes me pysically ill.

Heck, I spent about 25 years working in radio and the news media, and to see how its devolved makes me nearly want to vomit now, too. I used to be so proud of the industry in which I was lucky enough to work. Now it's almost embarrassing to me.

It took this long to find some room on their guest schedules to shoe-horn him in there to make a comment. I'm surprised they found any room for him. The others, all Trump people, just suck up all the air-time and face time. It's outrageously lopsided booking! They'll have ONE Howard Dean on maybe once or twice a week, and these hot 'n' cold running Trump people spewing out of every faucet, hour after hour after hour, around the clock! Howard Dean should be a regular, like that bunch is, so where is HE, hour after hour after hour? They're allowed to monopolize the guest list while Hillary surrogates are comparatively few and far between. I keep tweeting - "Bias much?"

And yet they're all over "Babbling Boris" Epshteyn and Steve Cortes, and I see now that Kellyanne Conway has emerged from hiding, and ventured onto "The View" yesterday - only to get chewed up by Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar - well-deserved, I might add. I forget who said it (or joked about it) on the air but the massive fail of Trump's debate performance left little Kellyanne hiding in her hotel room, on the floor, in the fetal position. Of course besides Jodyanne Jerk-me-off (my husband's nickname for Kellyanne) you have Twinkie-Jean and Billie Jo/Bobbie Jo/Betty Jo out there trying to cover and spin for him. And of course that irrepressible darling, Scottie Nell Hughes.

Scottie Nell???? What the hell?

I'm sorry. It's crass of me, for sure. Even mean-spirited. I apologize. Guess Trump just brings out the nasty in me. But DAYUM! I keep wondering where the hell they're getting these (mostly) blonde cutie-pies with these cutesy-poo pre-school-age where's-my-teddy-bear names? WHAT is with THAT? Evidently that rule that only the pretty girls should be hired to work in TrumpWorld applies to more than just his casinos and hotels.

We shouldn't forget Kayleigh McEnany, and token brunette Kristina Pierson, with her heavy makeup and her fancy bullet necklace - in fashion accessory circles that's regarded as a "statement necklace". Yep, she makes a whale of a statement with that one. He's got quite the strategically-chosen deliberately telegenic harem working for him there. And Omarosa for good measure.

But the cutesy-poo names just slay me. Maybe it's an attempt to disarm - awwwww... cute little Kellyanne/Scottie Nell - so darling and cute. Wouldn't hurt a fly...

Sorry...

When I finally had the honor of introducing Helen Thomas to Howard Dean, Helen said to me afterwards, "he's not a politician." That was just about the highest compliment Helen ever gave anyone.

I don't know how many people are still on DU that remember Helen Thomas, but she was a giant of giants. A woman small in stature who made fifty years' worth of presidents tremble when she spoke, and seethe when she wrote.

We are talking about a guy who probably would have been president if it weren't for the media blowing him screaming out of proportion.

Meanwhile you have Deplorable Donald calling beautiful Latina women whores and pigs and the media never chastises him!
