are "battleground" ones, not the ones with increases, for example, Ohio had a decrease

2. Some of this will change when the outstanding ballots in some of these states get counted.

NY has not counted their Absentee ballots. CA still has plenty to count.

It's the total turnout for 2008 v. 2012 (up until Monday, 11/12/12). 2008 had historic turnout and is therefore used as a benchmark.

I know there was a big thread on the youth vote and how wonderful they are, but the one's I've encountered through my son's friends, turned on POTUS in a big way. Mostly male, white, college educated, very very privileged.

The irony is, few have done much with their lives since graduating - yet they condemn our president for not doing every thing he campaigned on in 08.

Music festivals and Burning Man is their priority.
