2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhere is the Justice Department and the Attorney General?
Over the course of 2016, Donald Trump is alleged to have:
1 - Raped a 13 year old girl (on numerous occasions).
2 - Broken numerous federal and state laws in reference to his use of the Trump Foundation, an alleged "charitable organization", as a money laundering operation and personal slush fund.
3 - Broken federal laws in reference to the trade embargo and his financial dealings with Cuba.
4 - Broken Employment Laws by discriminating and firing hotel employees that weren't "attractive enough".
5 - Potentially broken numerous federal laws and regulations in his dealings with Russia and Putin, up to and including committing Treason.
6 - Broken numerous state and federal laws bribing public officials AG Bondi and Texas AG/Governor Greg Abbott to drop state lawsuits against Trump University.
7 - And this list is by no means complete! Personally, I think his numerous bankruptcies and "unpaid contractor bills" are tantamount to Theft and Grand Larceny, but I digress. . .
Now I know New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has taken the initiative to investigate #2, and that the IRS is looking at a few things, but my beef is this: Where is AG Loretta Lynch and the Justice Department on all of this? I can appreciate that they don't want to appear politically-biased during a heated election season, but surely there is enough evidence to warrant investigations of Donald Trump on numerous levels, not the least of which is his alleged connections to Russia and Putin!
Just say something, Loretta. Just assure us that you're "looking into it" or something. Please let us know that someone in our government is doing their job and looking out for us. I appreciate you're desire to stay neutral, but if the cost is a potential Trump Presidency, the stakes are too high. If Donald Trump is a criminal (and many people suspect he is), the American People deserve to know that NOW, before the election, before this man can drag our whole country into the gutter with him. . .
Sigh.
