Any single one of these things he's done should turn people off and away. But he'll go back to his teleprompter and people will forget his insanity and get behind him again. Even if he pretends, fakes it and follows his handlers instructions - people need to remember that he gets erratic and unpredictable when no one is "handling" him. No one will be controlling him if he's president.

But how on earth does he poll in the 40% range in some of the less than solid red states? These are people that I would assume are republican but not rabid bigots and racists. How do they reconcile the odiousness of this troglodyte and support him?
