OH ED PLEASE impeached for what it's not like he lied under oath about this incident. He thinks the rethugs are so radical that there leading to this with all this investigation I disagree if they try and impeach this President it will be the end of the republican party.

(3,436 posts)Would love to see the pukes try to go this route! We would have a chance to sweep the house clean and add to our senate majorities with this blatently political move.

(18,791 posts)The Puke and Bagger Party are virtually suicidal.
They DO NOT care what the rest of us think. Their "bubble" is so rock hard and clouded, that they don't even know that "we" exist.
I believe, that we will hear "impeachment" multiple times in the next 4 years. And if not Benghazi, then something else.

(109 posts)Ed Schultz wasn't calling for impeachment, he was suggesting some Republicans might attempt it.
and welcome

(24,096 posts)no, I wasn't suggesting Ed himself was calling for impeachment.
I am suggesting he is making another big deal out of nothing and getting people excited Over The Wrong Things, Again.

(22,144 posts)and I am afeared it will have some success. They are going to try repeat what they did to Clinton.

(19 posts)now with the girlfriend spilling the beans about the CIA doing things behind the President's back, it seems to me it is really not a good one for them. I think they will be backing away soon as more of this mess is revealed. They are going to wish the President cleaned up their mess without all this publicity. Bengahazi is looking more and more like a neo-con last end run around the President. He is letting the chips fall now.
NewJeffCT
(56,829 posts)and, the CIA doing things behind the president's back isn't a Fox News talking point. Right now, they're still saying it's a coverup that more didn't come out before the election.

(13,468 posts)If the girlfriend problem dredged up anything that could have helped the Repukes then Cantor wouldn't have sat on it before the election after his personal FBI informant came to him about it. What on earth kept him quiet???? He wouldn't have been if there had been something damaging to the President revealed. My guess is the opposite.
This might be one that's getting away from the Republicans, taking on a life of its own with the Baggers and the people that drool all day in front of Fux Noise.
Filibuster Harry
(666 posts)didn't Cantor come forward if there was something truly damaging to the president? The Rs are desperate.
Coverup , impeachment, and they are even being sympathetic to the general. " he was human". I wish they would be fair enough to blast this guy like they did to Edwards. Fair and balanced -- right?

and this means you Ed, Tweets, Rach and all the 'good guys'.
Soledad O'Brien will be happily busy tho, she's not afraid.
NewJeffCT
(56,829 posts)or did something else illegal, Republicans would have already started the impeachment process.
However, I don't see it happening over Benghazi unless something else big comes out.
HooptieWagon
(17,064 posts)Settle down folks. The Rs probably will impeach Obama, as a political stunt. The House then presents their case before the Senate, who will no doubt find Obama not guilty. Republicans will make jack-asses of themselves, as usual. Bring it on.

(8 posts)Say the President would be IMPEACHED. He said that is where the republicans are heading to try and find an impeachable offense, try to make something out of anything. There is a big difference. They have been crying impeachment from day one of Benghazi

(32,094 posts)And, some of them were screaming about impeachment well before Benghazi. It's the same old shit from these assholes. They've been digging for a blue dress since Jan. 20, 2008. Ed pointing out what they are doing is not Ed saying the President WILL be impeached.

(3,783 posts)Fox said it over and over again. Of course they want to try this. It's what they do.

(53,871 posts)If they dig too deeply into it they might find that that anti-muslim film which led to all the protest in many countries in the Middle East was produced by a mysterious ex-con who secured funding, equipment, production people, production location, actors, video translation to Arabic, video posting to YouTube, and the alerting of the Arab media of its existence online, was done all within two months of the producer getting out of jail. All of that is just not possible for a just-out-of-jail ex-con without huge monetary backing by someone. And Romney held a press conference to bash the President before the smoke even cleared in Libya. Seems he had been primed to do this to gain electoral advantage because his little press conference (ending with a smirk on his face) came only two, I repeat, two minutes after Secretary Clinton went on the air to give the info that the State Department had on the on-going incident. Where did Romney get the information. All this seems, including Romney's timing of his little smirking attack on the administration, too coordinated to just be coincidence. I say let them keep digging and they might find links to right wingers with SuperPac money who were so determined to win the election that anything was fair game in damaging the President, with a few deaths being just collateral damage. And that video producer, by the way, has been bum rushed back to jail on other charges. Seems someone doesn't want him available to investigative reporters. I wonder why?

OTOH, i'm sure. Few of them remember that shit didn't work out too well or them the last time they tried it.
And interestingly enough, our "disgraced, impeached" ex president is more popular than ever, and helped get the current one reelected- while their last president spent the campaign in an undisclosed location.
