What is the deal with Trump pronouncing it "Ji-nah", anyway?

I've never heard of anybody saying the word "China" like that...even anybody who HATES the place.

Does he actually think it's funny to pronounce it like that, or does he think he can bait Beijing into launching a nuclear strike right before Election Day?

During the SNL skit Baldwin made ruthless fun of Trump's pronunciation of "Ji-nah" and when he said "Yuuuuge Ji-nah" the audience got the joke and thought it was hilarious.
