Sounds like trump is slurring his speech

I don't find that I can tolerate listening to him but for a moment at a time. It seems to me though, that his speech is slurring. It is like he sounds drunk even, and this is new.

Has anyone else noticed this?

It could be exhaustion, or a minor stroke, or some other brain injury.
I don't write this to be funny, I do think something is going on. When I reflect on it with this post, I realize it was after he was so defeated last week. Maybe it is emotional?

Did you ever see some of the Mythbuster episodes on sleep deprivation? There's a reason why sleep deprivation is used as a torture method.

Also, if his Dr. Feelgood quack prescribed him some 'little helpers' for sleep, many of them have a kind of hangover effect for many people.

I tried Lunesta once and felt drunk and sleepy the entire next day. Never took it again.

to slur his words. The lack of sleep alone could have that effect. He does appear to be having a meltdown, there have been so many negative stories about him.

I know he is very opposed to drug use (and claims that his brother's early death deeply disturbed him). I know this is all alleged, etc. I do wonder about the unusually aggressive sniffling, which has definitely happened before. I know there are ex-cokeheads out there who think he has a coke problem. He definitely seems to slur words during certain events, especially events at which he gets very wound up and weirdly emotional. I know he vehemently denies any involvement w/drugs but one wonders...

could be to "illegal" drugs, but I'm sure he has no problem with prescription medication. Apparently he has taken diet drugs to control his weight and give him energy. Being they are legal, he might not think it is a problem.

he isn't taking medications designed to calm down his trademark outrageous statements. Many of the medication that might accomplish that also slow down reactions and make the mind a bit muddy.

I don't know for sure, but whenever I see him speaking in a low-key way, I suspect medications are at work.

I've noticed how he rarely makes an actual sentence grammatically correct. Often leaps from one topic to another. Incoherent babbling coupled with frequent claims regarding his mythical exaggerated powers.

I diagnosed micro strokes several weeks ago. Apparently that is a thing now - to diagnose online.

In one event he said the word "intelligently" when he clearly had meant to say "intentionally".

Not one media outlet seems to notice. It did not make sense. But who cares, right?

Why would anyone believe anything that this man said with his track record of lies?

Who knows what is making him slur his speech, but I'm right there with you in that I cannot stand to listen to him. I find myself watching that little anus whole of a mouth and trying to figure out how he makes it move like he does.

he phoned in to a CNN show in the wee hours. Don Lemon. Remember he used to do that on all the networks, before he got exclusive with FOX..anyhow, this was in the early days when they were all just tickled pink to have the honor of speaking to him. He was drunk as a skunk. Lemon just kept extending the spot...it lasted a good 25 minutes. Lemon didn't dare to insult or confront him, milking the ratings..he just rambled....I thought at the time, how come nobody noticed he was really loaded......I went on his FB page, and said how drunk are you?
