So how long does Pence have

He has to say something. How does he get out of this one? He has two real options. One he can keep playing his little game of "Trump didn't say that", like he did at the debate, or if he really wants to run in 2020, he has to denounce Trump and step down as the VP. If he took Trumps place, the die hard Trump gang would think this was a plot to take Trump down, and no matter who took Trumps place, they would lose all those voters that have ignored all the other crap Trump has done so far, and without those votes, the republicans can't win.

The longer Pence waits to speak out, the worse it is going to be for him. He is pretty much in a no win position right now. What will he do?

He can't avoid the press till the election is over. If he doesn't speak out, it will make him look bad and spoil his chances in 2020.

Although it might be his only chance of salvaging any hope to run in 2020. Guess we will see how much of a gambler he is.

That's for sure. I thought he was looking out for himself in the debate, positioning himself for 2020, but if he stays with Trump on this, I think his chances for 2020 are over.

To speak out, the worse it will be for him. He will have to do a lot of dancing on this one to keep his hopes for 2020 going.

Indiana was cheering his departure. He'll no longer be a governor or anything else. If he makes noises about running all the bad stuff about him will come spilling out. At least that's my hope.

He has plans, I could see that in the way he responded at the debate. He wants to run in 2020, but he has to make a choice now on how to handle this mess.

but knew he couldn't because of the stuff he'd done. Being Trump's VP pick was his gift from God.

Pence only took this gig because he's going to lose his govenorship in Indiana. 'Periods for Pence' killed him. Pence was politically dead before Trump picked him. Trump, as usual, showed he only picks losers. Why we can only guess, but I suspect it is because Trump likes to pretend he.'s the big dog, and surrounds himself with little dogs to reinforce this fantasy.
