Move Pence to the top of the ticket and move some poor schmuck into the VP slot, that'ts what they can do!

He won the nomination. It's his nomination. There is nothing they can do unless he steps down.

A - Can't change the ballot now. people have already started voting. People are voting for Trump, not Pence, no matter what. If they tried to force change it, he could sue and probayl win at the Supreme Court. Parties are not recognized by the Constitution, only individuals.
B - Trump is the head of the party
C - Trump's ego won't allow it
D - Trump's supporters won't allow it

There are no provisions in the RNC rules to remove him. He would have to step down voluntarily.

The best they can do is withdraw the party's support and hope he backs out. I doubt they can fire him or force him off the ticket. If Trump DOES back out, which I doubt he would do, it still doesn't guarantee he'll be replaced on the ballot, especially with people already voting.

The Constitution does not recognize parties, it only recognizes individuals. The parties are only a convenience, not even a requirement that the VP and President are related in any way, some early VPs were of different parties than the Pres.

If they name someone else that repubs find reasonable, it could be more of a challenge for HRC.

being spewed for months, and that didn't stop them from endorsing him

It can only happen if trump drops out, then the RNC would find a replacement. If they choose Kasich, because he refused to endorse trump, I believe they would have to do it through a write in campaign. They cannot use existing ballots
