Stick a fork in him he's is done.

Either they let him stay and he drowns the whole down state ticket or they cut him loose appoint a, Jeb let's say, and try to save the house. Most states his name will still be on the ballot, no matter what.

He can only remove himself. Once they nominate him, he's their candidate and that ship sailed.
