1. I can't see Trump quitting. They've got no hold on him to force him if he doesn't want to.

He's lawsuit happy if they try any shenanigans behind his back. Ballots are printed and sent; people have already voted. He's their nominee, and that's the end of it.

Even then, IF he quit and they had a chance to nominate someone else, which of them didn't endorse Trump that can also attract his deplorable supporters, who voraciously loathe the few establishment candidates who managed to stay #NeverTrump up until now.

No, this is the next stage of the GOP crack-up. This forces moderates to consider breaking with the party completely. Then the GOP will be a regional party with no liberal or moderate wing as is necessary to be a national party.

They not only shot themselves in the foot, they just now shot themselves in the head. The wound is mortal. They will never survive.

They are reaping what they have sown. Pure filth, misogyny and unfettered hate.

4. What amazes me …

… is that there was ever a single Republican who didn’t see this coming.

They had to know that if what Trump says in public is as bad as it is, what he says in private is much, much worse – and that someone somewhere would have proof of that fact.

They had to know that with all of the damaging information about Trump already out there, surely there was more to come – and what was yet to come would get progressively more damning.

They had to know that he was willing to fuck their entire party without hesitation – as he’s demonstrated time and again.

The GOPers wandering around tonight, saying, “I never thought it would come to this,” have never had an intelligent thought in their lives.

The tape is completely unsurprising. It fits everything we know about Trump. The Republicans aren't shocked by what he said, only that it's become public.

i just can't believe that Little Marco or Lyin Ted couldn't be bothered to have their staff chase something like this down and use it to edge out Annoying Orange 6 months ago. how could they have been so blind as to not see this shit in their future, if it's all over his past?

The ignorance in this country is incredible.

And the Christian Right in this country is Calvinist in its thinking so that a rich person was already chosen by God, so they can do no wrong. No matter what crazy thing Trump has said has already been dismissed by them.

The hate, since 93 and before, for Hillary by people like Rush has effectively left us with a subgroup of America void of reasoning.

So, Sunday, like Bill Maher said, we have a town hall with undecided voters asking questions, who haven't made their minds up about two of the most known people in America. I hate to imagine the questions.

After that video, no one could survive. But I cannot predict anything in this election. Nothing makes sense to me. This must be the election when we actually sink or swim.

13. That is factually not true

The vast majority of the Christian right are not Calvinist and Calvinism is the minority among all professing Christians today. Your understanding of Calvinism is also not true. Historic Calvinist have not taught that someone being rich is a blessing of God,but only bounties of providence nor have they believed someone being poor was a punishment. That's strictly providential too. Calvinist do not believe that no one can do any wrong. Just such things have no bearing on salvation because of our understanding of the atonement, but are not free of immediate temporal consequences of our actions. Paul Roberson's dad was a Calvinist preacher and I don't think anybody could possibly mistake Paul Roberson for a right wing republican. It may be true that that most Calvinist today tend to be republicans, but sadly so is the vast majority of so called evangelical Christians today. So why wouldn't it likewise be the case with Calvinist.

#2: They crack the whip on any future nominee and demand that he toe the line as scripted. In other words.... they get more people like Mike Pence.
#3: There is the possibility Trump withdraws when he wakes up with a severed horse head in his bed. In that case see possibility #2
