In 1999, Trump Said He Couldn’t Be President Because of the Women He’d Sleep With

by Lindsey Ellefson | 1:26 am, October 8th, 2016

-snip-

In 1999, according to this article in the New York Post, he told Chris Matthews he could never run for President because of his history with women. Here is what he said:

People want me to (run for president) all the time … I don’t like it. Can you imagine how controversial I’d be? You think about (Bill Clinton) and the women. How about me with the women? Can you imagine?

When Matthews joked about Monica Lewinsky by saying, “You might be close, but there’s no cigar,” Trump said, “They might like my women better, too.”

That certainly isn’t the first time he defended the former President for his philandering. He’s actually done it a bunch of times. Tonight, of course, he went after Bill Clinton for being skeevy while defending himself — not once, but twice — but it’s all politics, right?

Anyway, to paraphrase Trump, can you imagine his presidency? With the women? Can you imagine?

show? Was this just 'locker room banter' that Tweety was taking part in? He's no better than Billy Bush.

He admitted last night that at first he thought the tape wasn't a big deal and shouldn't even be a target for media coverage because it was Trump's private comments about his private life. Only when other commentators expressed shock and were discussing the seriousness of the tape release did Matthews "get it"

He's a third rate presenter who makes opinionated comments constantly as if they were fact.

I'd love to see John Stewart and Keith Olbermann take him down.
