any bearing on their reaction to Trumps remarks? You mean, if you didn't have a daughter, you might have a different take?

Another DUer was bothered by Ryan's statement that women should be revered, saying..." we don't want to be revered, we want to be respected and seen as equals".

These Republicans are so lost when it comes to thinking about "women". They are Dinosaurs. The world is passing them by.

So I'm not surprised that their statements were personalized. I'm stretching, now, to remember if they expanded it to something like, 'we all have mothers, sisters, aunts and nieces' and should all be outraged.'

What I'm curious to hear is what they will be saying, now that the shock has waned, a bit.

...LGBT issues when his son came out, it only opens eyes when people they personally know are involved.
