Granted, I'm overdue for new lenses...

but the fact that I initially read this headline as, "this is not really a post-fart election", and it barely gave me pause - even in the Washington Post! - says something about just how degraded the national dialogue has gotten.

However, I do plan to get my prescription for new lenses filled next week.
