Will trump withdraw or continue ? would be decided by his business needs, Litigations if withdraws

If he decides to continue:
1. He will definitely figure out that a potential Trump TV or any other venture targeting deplorables will be beneficial.

If he withdraws:
1. He would figure out, this negative publicity will trash his business
2. A new mini convention needs to be called based on rule book to elect a candidate with 1237 votes
3. Since ballots are printed and casted (absentee and early), legality of those votes going to new candidate will be litigated
4. Each state has different rules for "Electors", those need to be challenged in court and DNC vigorously pushing back.
5. RNC will definitely need an army of lawyers
6. If Repub candidate wins, legality of the election will be questioned.

Our founding fathers did not plan for this, we had two cases of death before and after election but those were different cases, this is something unprecedented.

He's a slave to his narcissism. He will do what he always does; blunder on telling himself he's succeeding, while he crashes and burns.

Undoubtedly, it would be worse than you describe if Drumpf steps down or is forced out. The blow back would be totally unpredictable.

For one thing, there might not be enough time to get another candidate. Election Day is set at the federal level; there is no postponing it. No do overs either.

The presidential election in the USA is 50 different state elections with 50 different sets of laws governing them. If you were a GOP lawyer how would you like to navigate that tangled morass if Drumpf suddenly stepped aside? Pretty much the definition of a total clusterfuck.

Happy to support your thread. It is well thought out.

On edit: in my humble opinion, Drumpf will still be the GOP presidential nominee on Election Day. It is the situation that makes the least damage. I think the GOP knows that.

He's always on Rachel's program. I like him. The article is good.
