One possibility is that republican voters stay home

This would be the best possible scenario for us. Staying home would have a massive cascading effect up and down the ticket. It could flip the house, state houses, and more.

I think this is the best course of action for disgusted republicans.

If just enough of them in close down ticket races would not show up it could change everything.

And the farther down ballot you look, the fewer and fewer who bother to vote those races. Every election, when I look at the numbers, it's pretty amazing how strong that drop off is.

They are rooting for him now out of desperation

After the election the Trump brand will go the way of the Edsel and Freepers will deny they ever supported him

Of course there is the rump Trumpers who will call for the overthrow of the statist traitors in Congress yada yada
