GOP women break with Trump
By Melanie Zanona - October 08, 2016
A growing list of Republican women are breaking from Donald Trump ....
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), who is locked in a tough reelection race, announced Saturday that she will "not be voting for Donald Trump ....
Reps. Martha Roby (R-Ala.) and Mia Love (R-Utah) have both rescinded their endorsements of Trump, while Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.) a top Democratic target and Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) called on Trump to drop out of the race.
Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) said in statement she was "deeply offended" by the comments and said that there is no excuse for the "disgusting and demeaning language." Capito added it may be appropriate for Trump to reexamine his candidacy. And Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said she can't support Trump and that he has "forfeited the right to be our party's nominee.".......
... Republican Meg Whitman, chief executive officer of Hewlett Packard and typically a major GOP donor, has endorsed Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton .....

This guy has to go along with his buddy Trump!
https://thinkprogress.org/a-top-republican-senators-ridiculous-defense-of-donald-trump-s-racism-18441fa207ff#.lr1n1z2hq
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumps racist claim that a federal judge cannot be trusted to remain impartial because of his Mexican heritage is no big deal, according to the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. .....
Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA), by contrast, told the Des Moines Register on Wednesday that Trumps racism is no more troubling than widely reported comments made by Justice Sonia Sotomayor prior to her appointment to the Supreme Court. I think that you dont have any more trouble with what Trump said than when Sotomayor said that . . . a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male, Grassley claimed.
Sotomayors wise Latina remark came as part of a lengthy speech she delivered discussing how judges life experiences shape their decisions, and how they should balance their unique perspectives with their obligation of fairness to litigants. I am reminded each day that I render decisions that affect people concretely, Sotomayor said, and that I owe them constant and complete vigilance in checking my assumptions, presumptions and perspectives and ensuring that to the extent that my limited abilities and capabilities permit me, that I reevaluate them and change as circumstances and cases before me requires.
In this context, she made the comment that Grassley criticizes: I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasnt lived that life. ............

http://www.kmaland.com/ag/senator-joni-ernst-hears-from-cattle-producers-in-atlantic/article_91afc57e-8cba-11e6-8a40-930df166076b.html
The Red Oak Republican says cattle producers are important to the economy.
The cattle they are selling and the meat products coming off of those cattle are very good lean sources of protein," Ernst said. "We see a great demand across the United States and that is why trade is so important and goes hand-in-hand with farmers and ranchers."
Ernst also says people need to be educated why farmers are so necessary.
She says she will take this information back to Washington and figure out how she can help.

John McCain, Trump's lickspittle lackey all year long, claims he's finally had enough
Barbara Morrill - Oct 08, 2016
.... Lets be clear here. This sudden outrage by McCainand the rest of the GOPisnt because Donald Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women. Its simply a pathetic ploy to distance themselves from the predator who current leads the Republican Party. For the past 16 months theyve ignored Trumps hate speech, but now theyre worried about his toxicity dragging them down. This isnt righteous indignation, this is concern about losing their own job. Period. ......
