Trump will not lose the election because of one audio tape.

I fear that when this is over and he loses - and he will lose - that people will try and rewrite history to suggest that he had a chance until this tape came out.

If and when that happens, we need to make sure people remember that he was always known to be a misogynistic pig and that he was going to lose the women's vote by a historic margin even before people heard him in his own voice. We also can't let them forget that he was a vile, racist scumbag even before we knew that he was capable of sexual assault. The evolution of the GOP over the last 40+ years is what led to the most repulsive and incompetent nominee in history. And THAT is what will lead them to defeat next month.

Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled that this tape is what may finally lead to the bottom falling out. It also may very well give us the Senate, and could even put the House in play. That said, we can not and must not allow one tape to function as an excuse for that loss.

Sorry to vent, but it's been eating at me all day.
