Giuliani admits to Stephanopolous that Trump was speaking of sex assault….BUT

but says maybe he didn't go all the way, or he was exaggerating as, you know, guys tend to do. But he can apologize for those youthful indiscretions!

That doesn't make it any less offensive. Trump made comments suggesting that he either had, or would, commit sexual assault. But there is no proof that he actually acted on that. (As far as I know.)

Maybe I missed it, or maybe for that charge there doesn't have to be. I don't know, IANAL, obviously.

I just think when a guy says "I did x and I got away with it", you still would have to have an identified victim who is willing to testify, before you could file charges.

Again I want to emphasize that I don't think that makes it one iota less offensive.
