Thump and his antics may knee-cap the national Republican Party, but the state parties will continue to spew their poison for a long, long time.

On the other hand, Thump may be 2016's Goldwater, but I think that the Republican Party is in far worse shape in terms of ideas and potential constituency growth than it was in early 1965.

It's gotten to where I don't even look at them any more.

I would actually like to think that there are Repubs-moderate, of course-that I could vote for. Perhaps some day in some distant future time.

The GOP needs to be punished badly, just as the Southern Democrats were after the Civil War.

He's like someone who has decided to commit suicide but wants to go out with a bang by taking others with him.

I have begun hating Trump for awhile now but this stunt has made me detest him on a level I can't remember feeling before. Filthy dirty and totally self serving/aggrandizing.

And I have a feeling that when it's all over, when he loses "bigly", he will not only blame the republican party for cutting him off, but he will also sue them. He took them to the cleaners by funneling all money he could back into his own business's, and now they are cutting off his money, and he is pissed beyond belief. This man is out for revenge, you can see that by the way he was tweeting his support to his "followers" who are causing problems yesterday when republicans were taking back their endorsements of him.

His followers are mad, and won't be voting for those down ticket candidates on the republican ticket. Trump will continue to go after those who have dumped him, by encouraging this followers not to vote for them. When it's all over, and he loses, all the is left is a lawsuit, something he loves to do, for his last bit of revenge.

The GOP will never be the same after they unleashed this monster on the American political landscape. They will be tied to him for years to come.

When trump brought the Brietbart shithead on board he thought he was bringing on someone to help him win. But that has never been Bannon's goal. His goal is to destroy the republican party, peeling off the racist, originalist group and starting a new racist party. His goal is to make it acceptable to be open about white power beliefs. He has succeeded in destroying the Republican party. But I think he will fail in establishing the openly racist party.
