Debate set appreciation...

Some of you may remember my spouse works for the company that builds and installs the debate sets every election.



In particular, my spouse built the risers where the members of the town hall were seated onstage.

They were reinforced to withstand the weight of the disappointment at the depths to which a national candidate for President would likely sink.

My spouse did the job admirably, I think.

In not having Ronald Reagan's Air Force One in the background this time.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I remember that backdrop in a GOP primary debate, of course, and I once attended a veteranss' charity event at the Reagan Library with that plane looming overhead.

It's not her, it's me. And, by the way, I thought the debate set looked great. Tell your wife for me she did a good job.
