2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIt must be said. Trump is advocating treason.
Proposing to prosecute and lock up a political opponent, urging supporters to disrupt voting, hinting at "second amendment solutions" etc. This is nothing less than advocating an attempted coup in the guise of a free election.
On edit: I forgot - And trying to throttle a free press by "opening up libel laws."
This is much worse than any sex tape and Paul Ryan is enabling the treason talk if he does not openly urge Republicans to vote against Trump. Is keeping his House majority more important than stopping a potential dictator?

(8,000 posts)3. Yes, Ryan thinks it's more important to keep his seat
He would rather try to manage a dictator (fat chance of that) than to lose the House.
