To keep the radicals they have to support Trump. If they support Trump they lose moderate swing voters that they NEED to win. There is no way Trump will win the presidency because he's disgusting to the majority of Americans. In order to save down ticket candidates they have to move away from Trump but if they do then the radicals won't vote for downticket candidates.

All Democrats need to just force their opponent to either say they support Trump or disavow him and they will win. Trump has destroyed the GOP.
