This photo shows Trump at his worst last night:

Big, scowling man looming behind Hillary Clinton, with his thumbs hooked inside his belt. It's the very picture of a domineering rapist about to punish the "little woman" for her impudence. This is the man Trump is. He is menacing, dangerous, and volatile. He is a threat to every woman in this country.

GOTV for Hillary!

Thumbs in belt or pockets

The thumbs are hooked to the belt or the pockets while the fingers spread out and highlight the crotch. This gesture is used by men to display a dominant, sexually aggressive attitude. It is perhaps the most direct sexual display a man can make towards a woman.

Men also use this gesture to stake their territory or to show other men that they're not afraid. This gesture communicates the non-verbal message, “I am virile, powerful and dominant”.

It is a crotch display.

But from the (and a) woman's perspective, he may think she doesn't see him but she "sees" him with the "3rd eye" (remember how moms always talked about "eyes in the back of their head?? - actually women supposedly have better peripheral vision too) and "feels" him behind her pacing. I expect they were on a slightly raised-floor stage and she could also feel the vibrations of him pacing around like a rabid animal.

his aggression and staying "out of her space" seemed obvious to me. At one point when he'd moved up too close behind her when she came into "his" side of the rostrum to speak with a questioner, he seemed to realize it and quickly retreated not just back to his podium but all the way to the stool he hadn't used since the beginning. It seemed like a guilty move. Maybe he's been told what that crotch-framing stance indicates.

respectable, but here he is.

Bush was an idiot, but he wasn't a dickhead to his opponents. He did display some measure of humility and grace in debates and interchanges with his opponents (not to say Republican lead groups didn't do some dirty shit to Senator Kerry).

Bush was a puppet for the Cheney crime cabal and I still believe to be the absolute worst president this nation has ever seen, but by comparison to this clown they have stuck up there, he all of a sudden seems palatable.
