During the boardroom session that decided which team did the better job transforming its artist, Trump turned the conversation sharply ― and at times, uncomfortably ― to West’s physical appearance, specifically her skin.

“I assume you’re gonna leave this off, don’t put this shit on the show, you know. But her skin, her skin sucks, okay?” he says, according to the transcript. “I mean her skin, she needs some serious fuckin’ dermatology.”

“Fuck,” he proclaimed. “That’s Emily, that’s what I’m hearing about? Let me see the other one. I assume you’re not putting this on the show. ‘Cause I don’t wanna destroy the kid’s career.”

So he's rude, so what? We already know that. But his supporters can lump this in with the more disturbing statements and say "See? They just hate it when he talks tough."

The vast majority of women are already not going to vote for him so this doesn't really help.

Every little bit of his droppings will assist one more voter to see his true self.

That said, on what (objectively, rather than simple allegation) do you base your premise that this will measurably harm the Clinton campaign, and on what is that measure based?

So he complained about someone's skin condition. Big deal. TV is a visual medium. A skilled propagandist can use that to lump in with all the other crap and sum up by saying, "So, it's all stupid talk, then." It doesn't have to be true, it's what they can make of it.

Fortunately, neither Trump nor the GOP seem to have any skilled propagandists working for them.
