I am really enjoying the Republican meltdown .....

Full panic mode has set in, and the trend accelerates towards a massive defeat. Ryan has kicked the process into high gear.

I am indulging in a moment of schadenfreude.

I take great pleasure in their agony.

Their consternation gives me pleasure. And, The Donald only doubles down. The hole he is digging is becoming a vast crater.

Boy, this is fun.

...by God, I actually think I'm more sympathetic to Trump than I am to the Ryan/McConnell/GOP "establishment". I hope he pulls them down the toilet with him...

The GOP has been ripping itself apart at the seams ever since.

There is a part of the Republican Party who live in reality and a part that doesn't.

These parts are equally as enjoyable to watch. One part correctly sees the sky is falling and are scrambling to save something, anything of their party. The other part are Freepers and they think they are winning by 20 points, literally saw a thread on free republic with a poll showing Trump up 61-39 nationally and they were running with it.

The Scheudenfreude is wonderful, but we have 4 weeks left.

As a Buddhist, I'm not supposed to take pleasure in someone's misfortune. So I try to imagine how the Dalai Lama would see it with the eyes of all-seeing wisdom. Let it be a lesson for all of us that ignorance, hatred, and greed (the three poisons) do nothing but create great suffering. Who knows, maybe Trump will have the good fortune to meet the Dalai Lama and find a way to overcome his anger issues. It's possible for each of us (yes, even Trump) to restore our dignity and honor, but it's not easy.

Bigotry and separatist class warfare brings the dogs to the yard and makes them bark loudly. I think they mistook the noise these far-wing actors could generate by waving meat at a huge crowd as support and formed some wrong-headed ideas. Just because someone shares your view doesn't necessarily make them a constructive ally.

It could not have happened to more deserving people. We can't get complacent though.
