Dear GOP, Please Get Your S**T Together

The amount of falsehoods that come from far-right sources is astounding. The GOP has not been vocal enough to reject outright lies.

As a result, there are many Americans that are buying into the far-right propaganda that is responsible for a candidate like Trump.

A candidate like Trump should have never been possible. In an ideal campaign, I would like to see a GOP candidate that I disagree with on policies, but know that he/she has the character that is needed to work across the aisle while growing and protecting our nation.

I remember reading that the GOP would do some soul searching when Obama was elected for a second term. That seriously did not happen.

I have voted Democrat since I turned 21. I don't see myself jumping ship. But that doesn't mean I don't want the GOP to be a classy establishment. I root for GOP success in different degrees. I do that, so the American people don't have to be in a position like we are today.

Moderate GOP leaders need to speak up. They need to be loud and clear about what has transpired, and what Trump stands for. And if they are lucky, they might actually be able to produce a good candidate in the next 4 or 8 years.

I'm 60 and I long for the days when the two parties would work together and sort things out.

Teresa May. They are becoming just as deranged as American Republicans. But thanks to the democratic socialist pushback of the Corbyn Labour Party, they're having to couch their rhetoric in a little more "worker friendly" terms. But they STILL believe in the same neo-liberal Thatcherite bullshit that the Republicans in the US do and they're pandering to the racist fringe of the working class in the UK just like Trump is.

The Labour right tried to turn Labour into the Democratic Party, but the Tories have ALWAYS been Republicans and they're becoming more and more "Trump Republicans" daily. Thank the Corbyn social democrats success for even the change in Tory rhetoric. Without that, they would be full on Trumpers.

Let them dry up in the heap hole they've been digging since Reagan.
Selfish jackasses. They don't care about America, they only care about themselves. The GOP is a cancer in America.
