A gun store owner in Pinetop, Arizona wants you to know that if you’re one of the 736 people in that town who voted for Barack Obama, you’re no longer welcome in his store. According to the Phoenix News-Times, Cope Reynolds, the owner of the Southwest Shooting Authority store, posted a sign and took out a newspaper ad announcing that Obama voters are personae non gratae at his business “effective immediately.”

“If you voted for Barack Obama,” read the ad in the White Mountain Independent, “your business is NOT WELCOME at Southwest Shooting Authority.”

Copeland, whose Facebook page, according to the News-Times, regularly abounds with talk of secession and scorn for “Libtards,” also posted a sign on the door of his shop that reads in all caps, “IF YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA PLEASE TURN AROUND AND LEAVE! YOU HAVE PROVEN THAT YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO OWN A FIREARM! Thank you, The Management.”When asked by the News-Times how he intends to identify Obama voters, Reynolds replied that he intends to implement a kind of “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

“Obviously, this is nothing more than a political statement,” he wrote to the paper. “Of course, it would be impossible to enforce. If they don’t say anything, we’ll never know. They could purchase whatever they wanted, and they would probably get a big kick out of thinking that they are rubbing it in our face as they walk out the door. Some folks are easily amused that way.”
