(2,542 posts)I'm here for work travel this week, and apparently recycling is optional out here? WTF?
And keep in mind, WI's "progressive left" attacked Walker's recall opponent worse than they did Walker. One radio host said the Democrat would be bad for collective bargaining rights, as if Walker has been a saint on that topic. Typical puritanical progressives, shooting themselves in the foot and then blaming anyone else.

(2,795 posts)Walker is their faithful lap dog and the Kochs had said they would be dumping all of their campaign money into senate and house races. So I would assume Wisconsin is close to their hearts because of Walker.
I thought, though, that I read a week or so ago, Feingold ahead.

PS, read the very well-informed comments at the link for some context that is soothing.

(19,567 posts)Feingold led Johnson 46-44 among likely voters. Libertarian candidate Phil Anderson received 4 percent support.
Johnson has trailed in every publicly available poll tracked by Real Clear Politics dating back to February 2015 with the exception of a Loras College poll released last week that showed him five points ahead of Democratic challenger Russ Feingold.
Two other national polls last week showed Feingold leading by margins of 3 points and 12 points.
If Dems turnout to vote, Feingold wins.

(34,661 posts)Hearing from the Relatives, they backed Johnson and realized they bought a major joke. This shows the power of Ads with a slanted message that runs the day before Election Day. No time for Russ to respond and when all your media, print and audio as well as video is owned by two families, well in that is your answer.
Marquette as a dog in this fight and that is Johnson via donations to the University.

(13,190 posts)On the Senate by the Koch Brothers. This is why I disagree with Sanders talking about getting big money out of politics and stop getting money from billionaires. We are not going to win races with that attitude it sounds good but it's unrealistic. They need to stop complaining and get in the money game.
