Trump seeks game-changer in last debate

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are set to face a huge national audience together for the last time before Election Day.

The stakes could hardly be higher Wednesday in Las Vegas, where the two major-party presidential nominees will meet for their third and final debate.

For Trump, the encounter could be his last opportunity to make a campaign-changing case against his Democratic opponent. The Republican trails by significant margins in both national and battleground state polls, and he desperately needs to change the trajectory of the race.

For Clinton, the challenge is simply to avoid damaging mistakes, a task that could be made harder by the embarrassing emails from her campaign released by WikiLeaks. Many observers also expect the moderator, Chris Wallace of Fox News, to be more inclined to question Clinton with rigor than the moderators of the fall’s previous two debates. Both candidates also have the sheer size of the debate audience to consider.

All HRC has to do is stay focused and answer the questions and be presidential and let Trump foam from the mouth.

2. Expect a pre-debate "victory" announcement

Then a series of "polls" declaring his success.

But I seriously think he will consider dropping out and attacking every target. He does not want to be a loser.

I do hope he hangs in there till Nov 8. Or is he a quitter?

Whiny drumph?

3. I think Trump's behavior, tonight, totally hinges on Chris Wallace

If Trump is going into this debate counting on a Wallace-friendly moderation, I think he will feel free to be even more inappropriate and outrageous. If that counted on 'collusion' doesn't happen, we could see a performance so outrageous that it will go down in infamy.
