Oregonian: Experts suggest nine weed strains to get you through a presidential debate

I'm ready, RU?

Experts suggest 9 weed strains to get you through a presidential debate

This year's debates have all the excitement of a national sporting event, with the added joy of extreme global consequences. For some, this may be too much to handle. So for people who don't want to drink alcohol or meditate to deal with their anxiety, Oregon's legal cannabis might be the answer. We turned to the experts to find out which strains of weed are most likely to get you through debate night without too much trauma.

Remember: Cannabis is legal in Oregon, but you still need to be 21 to consume it ..........

1. Super Silver Haze

Robb Arnold, the owner of Jayne, says this sativa is perfect for the debates. It's "energetic, uplifting and great for high stress," he says over the phone. Bonus? It "helps with nausea," he adds.

This strain is almost 29 percent THC and .08 percent CBD. ........

The rest of the country might still be in the dark age of Mr. Nixon's war on political enemies, but not OR, CO, WA, and soon to be other states.

Plus, the rest of the country needs to know what life is like after the dark age ends.

Federal law says it is illegal. Posting about doing something illegal is risky.

And, you can buy starts at the store. The power co-op brought in a speaker for the annual meeting lunch to address the impact on demand and how to meet it. It's a new world.

One weed risk, it allows political police to legally surveillance you if they want to. But I don't own a dispensary or grow, or work in the significant industry, so I'm not at a high risk level in relation to federal legal penalties. I guess you want to leave your weed home if you go into the federal courthouse, to be respectful of the dudes doing their job.

And, as everyone can see, the tenor of the newspaper reflects the new legal atmosphere in this state.

Governments do NOT hate, they aren't people. People are governments, and some of those people are Republicans. People can hate, but not all of them are hateful.

You can't justy throw everyone into one basket and call them names. Try to keep it down to 50%.

These people and their devil weed. Openly boasting about breaking federal law. Too bad for us they are just a bunch of lazy stoners who will never get caught because they will never leave their moms basement. Don't you worry, it's a gateway drug. They will be shooting up clorox within weeks.

And after this election, hopefully it will be legal in a lot more states.

Californians can vote YES on Proposition 64, the California Marijuana Legalization Initiative that will be on the November 8, 2016. A "yes" vote supports legalizing recreational marijuana for persons aged 21 years or older under state law and establishing certain sales and cultivation taxes.
