2016 Postmortem

Trump needs an army of surrogates to translate his statements. Probably because he's utterly incapable of answering direct questions with direct answers and he obfuscates the actual meaning of his statements to the point where one has to call into question his very sincerity every time he opens his puckered pie hole.
Should we point out, that despite the fact he always moves the goalposts whenever he's pinned down on the things that he says and does, he's pretty much on record of on all sides of every issue?
And why is his very irrationality and constant abusiveness, his unfitness for office, out of consideration?

I think he's grown up fed and changed regularly, and with his every whim catered to. He's used to saying things and having them magically come true, at least within the confines of the Tower. Here in the real world, he behaves the same, stating his wishes and waiting for someone to fulfill them. Truth to him is a malleable thing, and though he lies when he can muster the brain power, he's also capable of believing whatever is exiting his mouth at any given moment. This is why his lawyers had to double up on him, and it's why he flip-flops with such a straight face. Changing his mind has always worked well enough inside the bubble.
Serial faceplanting on the rest of Planet Earth was inevitable.

Trump can't fake sincerity well.
