Since Trump can not see himself as a loser might he drop out a few days before Nov. 8

Trump would declare the election unfair because of how the media has "rigged" it and say that he will no longer run in a crooked race. This way he can say that he did not lose because he had already left the race. Of course this would cause his supporters to stay home as a protest to the "rigged" system thus bringing the total demise of the GOP. While I know this may just be wishful thinking it does explain why Trump keeps harping on the rigged system.

(Except insofar as he never really even began a campaign.)

The question is: can he stand the cameras pointed at him as the dismal reality unfolds on Election Night? I would have said absolutely not, but he does seem addicted to bloviating in front of cheering crowds. Whatever he does with himself next month and beyond, it may be that he'll always find a few dumbass commoners to show up and applaud him. Maybe that's all he really wants, and he'll consider the electoral humiliation worth it.
