Anybody else SUPER ANNOYED by the outdoor panel on MSNBC last night? (background screaming)

Good lord!

Why did they continue to broadcast from that location with all those drunk(?), rowdy, screaming people in the background?

I had to turn off the coverage, it was just so irritating!!

I'd call it a disturbance of the peace for sure.

from their format of having their sports pundits all commentating from as close to the game as possible.

Absolutely moronic to replicate for political events.

forgotten to take his anti-Koo Koo medicine because he was wandering into anti Clinton territory that he was inhabiting back during the "WHITE HOUSE IN CRISIS DAY 895" that MSNBC had at the bottom of the screen for half of Clinton's last term, culminating in the voice vote on impeachment, led by Joe LIEberman. Oh the good old days.

is really hard to take. Have you guys noticed the lack of liberal voices during all of the post-debate programming? I have to wait until 10:00 PM the night AFTER to hear what Lawrence O'D has to say. Even Rachel can play the corporate "pretending to be fair and balanced" game when she has to. Luckily for us, (at least those of us that watch MSNBC) Steve Schmidt and Nicole wallace are still making their amends for Sarah Palin and are close to being the best voices on those election and debate nights.

Robinson, Lawrence, Richard Engle, Steve Schmidt (to hear a somewhat principled Repub).

Fortunately, those peeps were in the studio.

But, all those who were on site were just over shouted by the cretins in the background.
Most tragically, Joy.

Edit: Got Eugene Robinson's name wrong.

Unlike the previous debates, where the crowds at Hofstra and Wash U were relatively respectful of the event, last night seemed organized. Since Jill Stein could get onto the Hofstra campus to grab some spotlight, they took a different tact...organize some students.

Seems like the most vocal chants were "Let Jill Debate". I was flipping channels and it seemed like a lot of the same people showing up in the background running from set to set whenever the lights went on.

I do have to confess, while it would be a total waste of time, after watching HRC JT Round 3, it would kinda of fun to watch HRC pound Stein into the ground for 60-90 minutes. Just for the sheer entertainment value.

I know, I know...it's punching down...but what can I say. It would be such a train wreck to watch. LOL

All it did was annoy the F*ck out of me.

And don't even get me started on Jill Stein. I'm perfectly fine with punching down on idiots who collaborate with Infowars.

Maybe it was late at night and the main sound tech was off duty and the backup person could figure out how to screen out the background noise. The camera operator was practically doing cartwheels trying to keep the signs out of the picture.

Those huge mobile broadcast sets are high tech studios equipped with everything gizmo and capable of dealing with all sorts of issues. These units are trucked in with everything on board from hydraulics to raise the set above the crowd, to glass enclosed sets that make it seem like the hosts are sitting outdoors instead of sealed in a posh, environmentally controlled TV set.
