No one was laughing, in fact some were booing, at his totally inappropriate attempt at humor but he kept going as if he wasn't being booed. I think he's still in shock from the last three weeks when it all came crashing down — first the poor performance in the first debate followed by the week-long series of ill-advised beauty queen tweets, then the release of the vulgar audio tape, followed by another horrible debate performance then all the women Trump groped coming forward then the third lost debate with his vow to not stand with the results of the election then the stupid joke and the boos at the Al Smith dinner — I mean misstep after misstep after fuck up after fuck up after misstep, he's obviously in a daze at how it all came crashing down so suddenly.

It's like karma punhed bully Trump in the nose and he doesn't know what to do but stagger to the finish line of the campaign — with poor script writers in tow.

Who the hell wrote that "pretending to not hate Catholics" joke at a Catholic charity dinner? His whole campaign has been done on the cheap and it shows even with his writers.
