Twitter gets creative with #TrumpBookReport

USA Today

Thanks to the #TrumpBookReport hashtag, you can see how Twitter imagines Donald Trump would interpret some of the classics.

#TrumpBookReport began trending after a St. Louis alderman and candidate for mayor tweeted that Trump’s foreign policy debate answers sounded like “a book report from a teenager who hasn't read the book. 'Oh, the grapes! They had so much wrath!' "

The Twitterverse responded with a bunch of other book reports playing off previous comments Trump has made.

"Juliet. Such a nasty woman. She made Romeo kill himself. And believe me he could have done better. Look at her." #TrumpBookReport

It took Low Energy Harry Potter 7 books to defeat Voldermort. Sad! I would have beat him in the first book! #TrumpBookReport

Listen. The point about Odysseus is he GOES HOME. He's an immigrant. He has a good run, but then he GOES HOME! #TrumpBookReport

The problem with Narnia--which is a disaster by the way--is OPEN BORDERS. Just letting people POUR in through the wardrobe #TrumpBookReport
