I used to have a job where I needed to listen to the afternoon asshats (rush/hannity). Now, I listen for shits'n'giggles if I'm out driving. Probably 2-3 afternoons a week for 15-20 minutes. It helps to know it's like going into to watch a science fiction movie - entertaining but no connection to reality.

And I do enjoy seeing them twist in the wind. Rush's tell is that he starts with all the mocking voices whenever he's really agitated. Hannity has this thing he does listing all the democratic "crimes" and he goes on until he's out of breath. Let's just say there's a lot of mocking voices and lists going on these days.

Beyond the farcical entertainment value, I've come to appreciate knowing what bullshit is being spread around as intellectual fertilizer the alternative universe so when I cross paths with friends and acquaintances thinking about trumping, I can start the conversation from their point of view before trying to bring them back to the real world.

I'd say I'm batting about .350 and if I were in the majors, that would put me in the all star game. lol
