I opened my door to a canvasser last night. He was Hispanic. Mine was the first house he'd ever canvassed and he was so absolutely earnest and professional. I told him happily that I'd just dropped my ballot off for Hillary and that I so appreciated his work as a volunteer. As an introvert who has canvassed for Obama and Hillary, I knew how hard it could be to knock on those doors. He smiled and we chatted for just a bit. His English was heavily accented, but his message came through clearly and warmly. So... Ms. Brewer, Hispanics not only vote, but they GOTV as well. His visit made my night.
