Trump: "So if I lose, I will consider this..."

At a rally in NC, Trump didn't finish the sentence. I wonder what he was gonna say?

Washington Post
Donald Trump is in a funk: Bitter, hoarse and pondering, ‘If I lose.?.?.’

FLETCHER, N.C. — As he took the stage here in this mountain town Friday afternoon, Donald Trump was as subdued as the modest crowd that turned out to see him. He complained about the usual things — the dishonest media, his “corrupt” rival Hillary Clinton — but his voice was hoarse and his heart didn’t seem in it.

He also promised to do all that he could to win, but he explained why he might lose.

“What a waste of time if we don’t pull this off,” Trump said. “You know, these guys have said: ‘It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. There’s never been a movement like this in the history of this country.’ I say, it matters to me if we win or lose. So I’ll have over $100 million of my own money in this campaign.”

“So, if I lose,” Trump continued as the crowd remained unusually quiet, “if I lose, I will consider this —”

Trump didn’t finish his sentence, but he didn’t really need to

1. He doesn't have $100 million into his campaign. This is the start of his new big lie. "Oh, I spent

He has said this before so we know how it ends. I guess now that it seems like a very real outcome he can't bring himself to think how true his words are.

had something else in mind.

Like "I will consider this:"

taking a vow of silence,

or perhaps

moving to Russia.

If he promises to move to Russia. Can you imagine him trying to survive against Russian "business men?" They'd stuff him in a 55 gallon drum and sink him in the Volga.

7. Today his new excuse for losing seemed to be to blame his supporters

In his usual backhand way, he says "I can't lose if you turn out and vote"

...Trump appears to be pathologically incapable of admitting any sort of defeat. That's the truly scary thing. When he says he won't accept the result unless he wins, I think he may be telling us -- intentionally or not -- exactly what's going to happen. He'll probably go to his death bed claiming "I actually won that election." If he does admit defeat, it will be a first.

From Frontline: The Choice 2016 (transcript)

NARRATOR:
But with damning evidence of racial discrimination, the company was forced to settle. Nevertheless, Donald didn’t admit any wrongdoing and even declared the outcome a victory.

TONY SCHWARTZ:
This is a classic example of where Trump begins to demonstrate something he talks about all the time today, which is he’s a counterpuncher. So somebody comes after him and says that he’s done something nefarious and horrible, and he just goes back at them with all guns blazing — you know, Boom, boom, boom! — and admits nothing. Never admit anything. Never say you made a mistake. Just keep coming. And if you lose, declare victory.
