Talk about delusional ...

Just received this email from Donnie & The Gang:

Friend, can you imagine our Trump election night party in New York?

It’s going to be a HUGE night...the party of the year, because it’ll be a party celebrating America’s future and the American people rising up to take back our country.

And Friend I want you to be there with us when it happens!

We’re choosing one lucky supporter and a guest, and flying them out to the Election Night Party on November 8th.

All you have to do is contribute $3 to be automatically entered to win.

Friend, by doing your part and joining Team Trump today, you’ll make sure we win in November, and that our party is a jubilant celebration of true patriots who defeated the liberal elites.

Believe me, I will do my part when I become president and take care of the American people. Our campaign has been gaining supporters every day; it’s a movement of patriotic Americans who are tired of being ignored by the Washington liberals and lobbyist insiders.

I’m proud to be your voice, Friend, and once I’m president, I’m going to be honored to fight on your behalf to make America safe, successful and respected worldwide once again.

Our Election Night Party is going to be a huge celebration for the American people, and I want you to have the chance to be there.

Just contribute $3, and you’ll be automatically entered to win a chance to be in New York with me on Election Night!

Good luck!

Donald J. Trump

It's gonna be HUGE! Believe me!

He picked a bad night for a party, but on the other hand, maybe having a party will get his mind off what is going down that evening.

in this particular con.
Candidates get to keep whatever is left in their campaign chests when the race is over. Trump wants his filled.
He wants to pay himself back the $100 million he invested.
And most likely he will stiff many others who have invested in his campaign.
Then he can later say, "I did well in that campaign, made millions", "I'm no loser".

They can keep the money for future campaigns but it can't go to them personally. Trump will do his best to try to get around that rule, but the FEC will probably be watching.

By holding campaign events at his venues and paying full price for the use of them. I'd bet his "victory party" will be at one of his properties and the campaign will be expected to pay heavily for its use. I'd also bet that win or not the party will go on and the payment for the use of the facility will be collected.

I think Trump has also charged the campaign for the use of his jet, for the catering done by restaurants in his venues and any other items he has ordered that the campaign use so long as his name is attached.

Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez to Perform for Clinton Campaign in 'Love Trumps Hate' Series

Even as her rival Donald Trump is slipping in the polls, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is pulling out the big guns in battleground states in an attempt to sway any undecided voters. The campaign announced a series of events dubbed "Love Trumps Hate" that will feature performances by Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Jon Bon Jovi, among others.

In a press release announcing the effort, the campaign said, "The performance series will feature a number of artists performing in battleground states who will energize our supporters and encourage them to turn out to vote on Election Day or to take advantage of early voting options in their states." More performances will be announced in the coming days.

The phrase "love trumps hate" was used by Clinton during her primetime address at the Democratic National Convention in July. The announcement explained that the performances will also serve as a recruiting opportunity to find new volunteers for the home stretch of the campaign. "In the final weeks of the campaign, what voters will hear from these performers and all HFA surrogates is that Hillary Clinton has the experience and steadiness to bring people together and get real results," the statement continued. "The choice in this election is clear. We can either come together to tackle the big challenges facing the country or let Donald Trump keep tearing us apart with his divisive rhetoric and dangerous ideas. That’s why millions of people are coming together to support Hillary Clinton and send a clear message that ‘love trumps hate.’"

Love does trump hate. People should have the freedom to love whoever they love. Women should have equal pay for equal work. Roe v. Wade means every women in this country, including Texas, has the right to choose. Inclusiveness, not exclusion. Saying no to a culture steeped in racism and sexism. Economic equality.

I am not a vulgar person, but I have no problem calling Trump a sick fuck. What needs to be said just needs to be said.

You're about as likely to cash in on that chance as you are to with Powerball, with far less reward.

18 or so days to make it happen for Hillary. Big GOTV push this weekend across the country. If any of you have a few hours to spare, this would be the time to do your part. A mountain of work yet to be done before election day.

so why does he need paltry $3 contributions? I got a letter (in an envelope and everything) from the Trump campaign last week asking for money from "Republicans like you", odd since I've been registered as a No Party Preference voter here in California for as long as I can remember. I'd love to see a thorough accounting of his campaign when the dust settles.
