'It's surreal': is a Democratic uprising afoot deep in the heart of Texas?
Polling shows Hillary Clinton within the margin of error in the Lone Star state, an unthinkable development years ahead of the party’s most optimistic hopes

It might seem unlikely that this presidential election could get any stranger, but polls are emerging that suggest Texas might now be in play for the Democrats.

After decades of suffering at the hands of Bush and Perry as governors, you'd think the citizens of the state would like to join the rest of us in the 21st. Century.

I wish I could get down there and help, but that's not possible right now. But there are plenty of great Texas Democrats who will!

The Latino vote needs to be heard, once it does, Texas would never be red again.

Everyone in my family is excited about voting. I'm going to see if I can talk one of my B.S. voting friends to support HRC. He's stubborn, but I have to do something. (not in TX though).

Come on Texas!!!

Early voting starts Monday and it will be my teenage daughter's first time voting. She blew off the primary (I was highly disappointed), but she feels her vote can count so she's ready to GOTV with me and hubby.

There are a lot of red states that went blue for Obama: Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina, Indiana, Omaha area of Nebraska.

Demographics are changing rapidly. Diversity is unstoppable and is only going in one direction. GOP really screwed up royally with Trump. Without women and minorities and young people, they don't have enough votes.

Obama's election in 2008 exposed that we have our blue wall for presidential elections: enough liberals in enough states to block out anyone stupid enough to run a fringe extremist campaign. They really screwed up by letting that extreme lunacy take over their party. Hate groups have freely admitted their role in hijacking the GOP.

Trump's voters really have no idea what sort of people are US citizens these days. They are in for a big surprise on election day.

Saw him on one of the Sunday morning shows saying so. When a GOP pundit starts saying things like that, it caught my attention.
