Did you see the first segment of Maddow last night? It was an interesting history lesson.

Rachel did a 16 minute segment on why there is a consent decree in place to prevent intimidating pollwatching based on race and the Trump family link its origins. The consent decree is to expire next year barring any violations of it so the RNC is kind of freaking out about Trump's call for pollwatching by his supporters in certain neighborhoods.

I can't find a way to link to the specific segment but here is the link to the show viewing platform.

well, especially with President Obama's involvement. The one thing that occurs to me, is that while it is good that the Democrats are responding (albeit belatedly), this is reactive. I hope they are also coming up with stuff that will knock the Reps back on their arse.

idiots try it and get caught and the consend decree gets extended. It would be a fitting end to Republicans not dumping Trump.

who inherited a lot of money and a big sociopathic mouth.

He sent his fans out to break the law because he can't stand the humiliation of Losing.. so he has to put it into their weak minds that it was stolen from him.

Not because nobody sane wants his stinking dictator ass in the White House.

8 more years, baby!

I hope some idiot does try to violate the decree. We need to be vigilant, especially in those locations where this is likely to occur and contact officials when it does happen. It is good to be educated on this because otherwise many would not realize this decree exists or why it is there.

From her segment it seems like they can't intimidate voters at the polls under the decree and if they get out from under it they can resume such activity.

So...what is the punishment?

I admit, I LOVE them. It is SO NICE to actually get some context for a change. So few folks actually bother to do it, and so few bother to learn it.
