In the general election ballots, will a Republican receive a ballot with the choice of dem candidates? I've got Republican family that didn't change affiliation and they wanna know if they can still vote for Hillary

Perhaps it wasn't meant that way, but that is how it can easily been interpenetrated. Look at the other replies and you will see that you could have provided a much kinder, more helpful answer.

It's a knee jerk reaction because of all the rudeness on the internet. But my method is to de-escalate snarkiness with kindness/playing dumb.

That way if you were being snarky, you'd look like an ass. And since you weren't being snarky, it lead us to continue a normal conversation as if all was well!

So yeah, communication skills for the win! I'm glad you weren't being snarky.

In general elections, you all get the exact same ballot with respect to the Presidential candidates (and any other statewide offices).

and not even then in a few states with open primaries. In the General, everyone in the same district gets the same ballot.

both parties...so yes your family can vote for Hillary. Here in Ohio, we have open primary voting also...you ask for a Dem or GOP ballot which I personally am against.
