2 factors that will boost Democratic turnout beyond the polls’ predictions

1. While the enthusiasm within the party for Hillary herself may be a bit limited compared to when Obama ran, that doesn’t mean that Democrats’ enthusiasm to actually vote for Democrats, including Hillary, is similarly limited. I believe that the FEAR OF TRUMP is far eclipsing lingering skepticism about Hillary, and is causing a Democratic turnout far beyond what the polls are predicting. Hispanic and African American friends and associates I have talked with despise Trump, and they are in absolute fear of a Trump presidency (and the same applies to many former Bernie voters). They tell me that while they may not love Hillary, people within their communities are very rabid about preventing a victory for Trump and his GOP enablers. I would think the same dynamic would apply to plenty of people from other ethnic groups who look at Trump’s vile attitude toward African Americans and Hispanics, and figure that if push comes to shove, his attitude toward their non-wasp ethnic group would be similarly negative. So far, daily turnout reports tend to confirm my theory.

2. People theorize about the possibility that Trump’s polling numbers are skewed on the low side because they posit that some respondents are embarrassed to say to polling companies that they will vote for Trump. That has been debunked by quite a few pollsters, and I agree that it does not make much sense, but even if that were a real factor, here’s a much stronger and more definite factor that tends to FALSELY INCREASE Trump’s polling numbers: It is easier for a lot of people to say to a pollster that they will vote for Trump than it is to actually vote for Trump. I believe that a decent number of people who have proclaimed to the polls and others that they will vote for Trump are finding that they just cannot pull the trigger for Trump when faced with actually voting.

I believe that Clinton, and Democrats in general, will outperform the polls.

Also, there's far more pro-Hillary vote out there than is being shown.

especially during the three debates that have driven up his negatives while driving up her positives.

I early voted today, and had a brief conversation with another voter, who didn't really want a Democrat in the WH for another four years, isn't crazy about Hillary, but absolutely despises Trump. He indicated he'd be voting for Hillary.

I will say the same about myself. I'm not at all crazy about Hillary Clinton as our next President, but the alternative is so horrendous that I voted for her. Not so much because she needs my vote, but I want all the crazies who support Trump to understand what a genuine minority they are.

but in fact they don't and are quite vocal in their support. I believe there is a hidden Hillary vote. Anytime you voice support for Hillary on social media for example there are attacks and they are multi pronged. Most people can't deal with that so they've just gone silent until November 8th.
