Let Me Get This Straight

According to Nate Silver (who is just doing his job and analyzing the numbers) Clinton could likely lose 1-2 points in the polls now, for no reason other than the media went into hysterics this afternoon, got a story from the FBI 100% wrong, and are only slowly walking it back because it would likely hurt their collective egos to issue a full retraction. So Hillary does nothing wrong, the media fucks up, and now she has to clean up their mess and take a hit for it? The pure, unadulterated bullshit that this woman has to deal with. God must have given her the patients of 1000 saints to deal with this unending persecution with little more than a sigh before she gets right back to work. Absolutely disgusting.

...the same way we view George Wallace and Strom Thurmond today. Look how it took 8 years of non-stop shit and lies about Obama before people say "hey wait a minute, this guy is pretty good". As the song says, you don't know what you've got til its gone.

The press hates us. They've been hippie-punching for decades. Republicans are allowed to abuse power all day long and no one cares. Trump doesn't release his taxes and no one cares. Scalia dies and Obama isn't allowed to replace him. The Bundy assholes commit serious crimes and don't get convicted.

It's us against everyone.
